"Love is in the air"

Valentines day is over and some of us probably had already had over 10 text messages from guys asking them to be their valentine and some of us had received countless messages from mommy or daddy asking them to look after Roger, your little brother while they go out for a night out.
So ladies and gentlemen (you know you would also do the same), you know you'll be wanting to keep away from your phone the whole day and probably just cuddle up with your childhood teddy with a cuppa tea or hot chocolate for those who don't really like tea (yes I am a HOT CHOCOLATE drinker). Also some of you (yes you know this is going to be you) will just wanna huddle up with a blanket after a long day of lectures and just wanna go on a film marathon of romantic movies (I defiantly know that's going to be me and probably half of the people on this planet.) Well luckily enough we live in a world of technology (hmm i know some of you are going to want to debate with me as to why technology is a no no in this time) but hello ENTERTAINMENT is needed in our lives especially if we live in a country which pours a whole river of cats and dogs (actually the correct phrase is "raining cats and dogs") so the only way to enjoy our selves is find entertainment indoors.

So you know since I quite like Romantic movies, here is a few I have watched that maybe you'll like to watch on Friday ayyeee ;)

Lets take it to the ol' skool days with .....
Love & Basketball
Love and basketball stars two young students in college who's passion is both on basketball (yes the title of the film shows that)
o.O even great if you have a plus one (+1) to watch this film with ;)

and joining Love and Basketball we have...
Love Jones
Starring Lerenz Tate and Nia Long in a lovely Blues/poetic setting. If you love poetry and a bit of heat if you know what  I mean then this movie is certainty a must watch!

Classics
Mr. and Mrs Loving
A very sweet and touching film based on two real people. The film is set in the 1960's when marriage out of races was still not accepted. Mildred and ....... (childhood friends) have been growing up in a place where whites and black could all get along with each other but when it came to marriage it was illegal and therefore they were forced to move out of the state far from their families and friend into a new state where life was different. We follow through the film how they fought for their rights to be together and how blacks and whites we now leading into a world where everyone was equal to do the same as the other race.
So if you want to see a bit of historical footage of Martin Luther King and at the same time want to see how these two interracial characters manage to move their way around during these times this film will defiantly
have you locked down to your seat.

Gone with the Wind
Yes this is defiantly a recommendation. I know half of you enjoy the old classics from Hollywood. I am able to watch this film over and over again without feeling bored especially since this is quite a lengthy film. (you wanna know how long ??). This four hour length film (yes 4 hours) has so much historical informational to give during the times of war. The wonderful music used just fits in well with the film from the classical orchestra and . O.o and one of my favourite lines from this film is "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" !
Rett Butler and Scarlett O'Hearly are both two separate characters but you can see some similarities within them despite their age and ambitions in life.

Pretty WomanStarring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. This is certainly one romantic film which features quite hilarious comedy. So if you want to have a giggle or two this movie is perfect for you as well as having of course the romantic parts... awww don't they have so much chemistry in this movie which is probably why Julia Roberts and Richard Gere featured in another movie together....but I think I shall leave it for you all to find out the name of the movie ... (HINT: begins with a 'N'). Now I have a tendency of plot spoiling so I don't want to give you too much information about this film 'Pretty Woman' and of course the other movie they both star in so I shall give you a quote from the movie

“When I was a little girl, my mama used to lock me in the attic when I was bad, which was pretty often. And I would- I would pretend I was a princess… trapped in a tower by a wicked queen. And then suddenly this knight… on a white horse with these colors flying would come charging up and draw his sword. And I would wave. And he would climb up the tower and rescue me. But never in all the time… that I had this dream did the knight say to me, “Come on, baby, I’ll put you up in a great condo.”

Don't you just love the RED dress on her ! Hint Hint Romantic Colour or is is signifying Danger ? hmmm

So for now I shall leave you with this mini list of movies to watch yes they will last you the whole day so I shall pick another set of movies for you all to watch more Romance ones !
Or maybe Horror movies O.o

Enjoy you day everyone xXx

Lots of kisses and Hugs Stacey xXx
