Hello my wonderful readers.
How have you all been keeping???
Unfortunately for me, I have been under the weather, let's just say, Chicken Pox finally visited me. Okay, I don't regret getting it because let's just say it wasn't so bad and I didn't particularly have any shows going on.
During the time, I had a chance to challenge myself to read a book from start to finish. I would like to thank my mom at this moment of time for giving me her whole selection of books. I managed to read a book within two days which is a world record and is probably my 3 book I've completed within my time being in this world. (I know this is bad)
You see I tend to judge a book by it's cover, especially book's which seem like a never ending story. I just feel like I have no time in the world to get lost in the lines or feel like I am one of the charaters. You see I just hadn't found the type of genres I was into and most of the time, I turn away from all the mainstream books that most people would read at my age.
I may sound a little ancient but I love 'Period Drama's' anything romantic is my cup of tea. This is from films and I guess I can now say books lets not forget Horror too.
Alright, of course not all involving just two people blinking at each other, but I find romantic stories more interesting, especially set during the early 1900's Queen Victoria's reign. It gives me a bit of an understanding about how Britain used to be especially with all the description entailed in the books. Let's not forget the First World War and Second World War, so not only am I looking at love but I'm looking at history too. 2 for the price of 1 !!!
It's the same as 'Don't just someone by the colour of their skin' or better still their appearance on the outside.
We all want to feel accepted in life and part of this world, am I right?
We all want to find a purpose in life and not feel like we don't have one.
So I think a little life lesson for today is:
'Look deeper into the outside appearance of something, whether it may be a person or book, but remember your surroundings.'
By surroundings I mean remember the place in where you stand, sometimes life can through unexpected things at you so remember to be prepared.
